Being stuck in the house means plenty of time for knitting, right? Well SOME time for knitting anyway! I still have plenty of school stuff to keep me busy during the day. I talked to my adviser yesterday and it turns out that this is the last semester that I will be able to take a full load of classes (which in my situation is 2 classes). That kind of sucks because it means that it will take longer than I thought but, it also means that after I finish these next 2 classes, which end at the end of April, that I will be at the half-way mark - woo hoo!!! After that - it's all dissertation work. I guess I really need to figure out what I'm going to do my dissertation on, eh? It will be something around the use of technology in bachelor's nursing programs - maybe the use of patient simulators? I'm just not sure yet but I really need to get on that!
Anyway, back to knitting. I think I told you that I'm making another Rugby sweater (I think this pattern was in Knit Simple - I can't even remember now) because Wayne was really hoping that Nathan's sweater wouldn't fit so that he could have it! Too bad for Wayne, Nathan's sweater fit him pretty good (with the exception of the sleeves being just a little too long). So guess what I'm doing? Right - making another sweater!!! So far, I've just about gotten the back done.
Also, I found a cute sweater that I want to knit in the latest issue of Creative Knitting. It's called the Soiree something or another. I dyed some yarn for that the other day so I think I'll get that started and take that to the apartment and that can be my apartment project instead of hauling my projects back and forth. But, that means I need to get all of the appropriate equipment together to leave there (needles, markers, scissors, etc, etc).

Hey KnitWitch,
I finished a pair of socks in one of your original yarns (either Andromeda or Sagittarius - can't remember which because I can't find the labels). I would like to say that they are my VERY MOST FAVORITE pair! I've used a lot of different sock yarns and yours is the best - SO soft and not scratchy at all! I'll have to take a pic and post to Facebook and link you. They're fantastic!
Wait a sec - that sweater wasn't for Wayne? I guess I missed that somewhere.
