OK - who started Olympic projects?? I started one but it obviously wasn't very challenging since I have already finished it! This one was finished while watching Apollo Ohno win silver - woo hooo!!! Isn't it kind of funny that the colorway is Apollo??? Totally unplanned but entertaining all the same.

Mods: This is the 3rd time I have made this pattern (I know, the first 2 I didn't take any pictures of) but I have knit 5 or 6 cable repeats instead of the 3 called for in the pattern so that the hat is long enough to wear with a folded brim.

I started my project during the opening ceremony but it's turned out kind of like the non-functioning torch, it's had 4 false starts now. I'll start again tonight, I'm leaving the ribbon out of it.
I wasn't going to do an Olympics/Ravelympics project since I just did Sock Wars...but was tempted and dived into making a pair of Rick socks from Sock Innovation.
I too cast-on a simple hat and I have it done, but I do want to put some trim on it. I ordered a different color for that... oh well I will have it done before the end of the games. I really want to get a pair of socks done for this too... So I have a pair that I am doing for WIP dancing.
I'm chugging along on the back of my husband's sweater. Unexpected time at the oil change place on Saturday let me get quite a chunk done. Sadly, there was no knitting yesterday due to all the fun I was having. :)
