Finito!

Finally! I know you have all been waiting with baited breath to see the finished Girl Friday Sweater. I managed to finish it up a few days before Christmas and get it all seamed together (which felt like it took forever!). Then, I wrapped it up and realized that I forgot to take pictures! So, I had to wait until my mom opened it for Christmas - which was really better anyway since she makes a much better model than I do!!

I was really excited about how well it fit her! She loves it and has already been wearing it around and getting compliments on it. I am pretty proud of this sweater since this is the first project I have every actually seamed together! This project was a great knit and a really good first seaming project. The pattern is well written which is always a nice plus.

I didn't really make any modifications except for the yarn. I used Knit Witch Yarn - Mystical World (DK Weight) in colorway Apollo.

Can you tell my mom used to be a model??? :)



I hope everyone has a SAFE and happy New Year's Eve!! Can you believe it's time for another decade? I'm sure we'll just be staying home and watching the festivities on tv alone together as we usually do - trying like crazy to stay up until midnight!! What's everyone else doing??
