Help with dyeing

It seems that yesterday Willow thought I might need some help with dyeing. So, she hopped up on my dye table and promptly fell asleep using the yarn I tie the skeins with as a pillow. Wow, is she ever helpful!

I am testing out a new yarn to add to the shop! This is a fingering weight 70/20/10 Baby alpaca/silk/cashmere. This stuff is soooooooooooooooo soft!!! I dyed up a test batch of 2 skeins the other day. What do you think???

What should I do with it?

Oh - and check out these cool pictures I got yesterday of some newts! I was sitting down on our dock seeing what was going on in the water. Luckily, I had the camera in hand. The whole thing probably lasted less than a minute.

Did they just....huh?

And I'd do something lacy with that yarn. I bet it's super soft.

Okay...those pics were a little, mmm, weird.

The yarn? It's beautiful! Obviously, you need to sell it on your webiste. Or you could knit a pretty Ishbel with it!

Great post! My cats adopt my WIPs whether knitted, crocheted or quilted.

I LOVE the soft halo on that yarn!
It would feel lovely as a cowl or a small shawl.

And were those baby frogs?

I made up a song about newts when I was in the 5th grade to entertain myself as I walked to the bus stop. I'll have to sing it for you sometime.

That is a lovely shade of blue. And I agree, it should be something lacy. I'll take some, too.
