Some Actual Knitting

First of all - don't forget about the contest! We have gotten a bunch of entries so far and some really great stories!! Keep 'em coming!

I have finished the "knitting for hire" dropped stitch scarf!! Woo hoo!!! This is 100% really soft alpaca. The pattern is my own made up version of the dropped stitch scarf. I don't have it written out per se but it is basically 4 rows of knit stitch, 1 row of *k1, yo2*, 1 row of knit stitch dropping all the yarn overs, repeat these 6 rows until you have a scarf that is the length that you like. This is a VERY easy pattern. This yarn color is "Cafe Au Lait" and it is for sale on our website HERE.

I received another 10 pounds of sock yarn yesterday so I'll be spending my day dyeing more sock yarn! I have had lots of positive feedback about the sock yarn from people who have purchased it. I also received more of that yummy alpaca/merino blend roving so I'll be dyeing that also. I think I'm going to have to do 4oz of that for myself - I have been really anxious to get some of that on the wheel. We will have lots of fun stuff to take to SAFF!

Here's Petey and Slim hanging out on the porch. Tough life, eh?
