What the hell?!?!

Why don't I know about this blogging everyday in November thing???? Who makes these rules anyway? Well, I have already lost. Dang it - you guys are supposed to keep me INFORMED ya know?

Wayne and I totally flaked out on the party last night. We left our house at 8 AM yesterday morning and didn't get back until about 5. So, we hung around for a bit and had a glass of wine. Then, the warlock promptly fell asleep. So......no party for us. While he was napping I started cranking out some silly crochet coasters for fun. Sometimes I need the "quick release" that crochet projects offer. I'll take pics of them tomorrow for anyone that cares.

REALLY we are off to the other party tonight. I gotta remember the camera.......We'll see if the warlock gets dressed for it. Where IS that fig leaf when I need it anyways?

OK I'm just gonna say this out loud now. The blog every day thing just because it's November is... well... I'm trying to think of a nice way to put it.

It usually forces people to relate stories of how they ran an errand and then they watched some TV just so they can post that day. There are some bloggers who have it in them everyday to write something that is either interesting or funny or maybe is just a good exercise for them personally, [I am sooooo not one of these people] but mostly it's all oh crap I have to post something, oh lookie I clipped my toenails, let's blog that. Generally not interesting, funny or even a good writing exercise. Yet droves of people sign up for this thing, stop doing it like 8 days in then feel like crap about it. It's a blogjam, too. Your subs get filled up with stories about how someone made rice-a-roni last night or how some relative of theirs you don't give a crap about is trying to decide on curtains.

Yeah, I'm opinionated. You knew that, right?
