Know what's ridiculous?

Weather.

That's right - I said it. Weather is ridiculous. On Saturday Wayne and I drove out to a horse farm in Ellijay to pick up a truckload of horse manure for our garden. It was a beautiful day, 70 degrees and we were sweating shoveling all of that manure out of the truck into our compost pile!!

Today - there is no sweating going on. Know why? Well, my faithful blog readers, that's because today it is snowing. SNOWING! On march 22nd in the South 2 days after Spring has supposedly begun. Seriously?

I have already planted my cold weather plants outside!!!!!! I am hoping they will be ok. I'm not sure if they have started to sprout yet. Ugh!!!!

I have been doing basically no knitting. I did work on the right handed Stulpen last night and just started the thumb (on the correct side thankyouverymuch). Mainly, we have been trying to get ready for Stitches!!!!

We have a new venture going with some kits that I am dyeing yarn for today and tomorrow. I'll tell you about it tomorrow!!!

we have been witnessing the same weather. The other day my neighbor was mowing my lawn (for the 2nd time this year) and it started snowing as he mowed...even though it was near 50! Snowed for awhile too! Then it was 70 Saturday , and sunny again and at least 60's (but was 25 overnight with a hard frost). I am giving the plants one more week before planting.

That's a very good word for it. I could not believe it had the nerve to snow on me this morning!! Ah well, this too shall pass, and I will begin complaining about how hot it is.

We sent it to ya! They were saying that we were going to have "blizzard-like" conditions on Saturday. It DID snow quite a bit, but blizzard?? Weathermen and hyperbole seem to go hand in hand, don't they? Now it's 70 here. It'll warm up fast for you so hang in there!

Yeah, we had it here North of Dallas Saturday night... I woke up to over 12 inches of snow on my deck Sunday morning. Left for work this morning in a sweater, and was tempted to put the top down on my car on the way home. It's been crazy here since Feb. we don't plant anything until the Mesquite trees and Blue Bonnets have bloomed.

When did you relocate to Ontario Canada?

I hate to say it, but you can keep it. We've been having lovely, warm weather.

I hope your plants make it through.
