Train.....train.......take me on outta this town.

Well, not really but it's a good song. We were sitting outside the other day (one of our wonderful 75 degree days!) and a train came rolling by our house. Granted, we live right next to a railroad track but the trains hardly ever come down this way. They usually go north from Blue Ridge towards TN. But every once in a while they will head to Blue Ridge from the south or vice versa. Of course we felt this was picture worthy!

We had rain ALL weekend but that is good because our little leyland cypress loved it I'm sure. I sure will be glad when we get back to these 70 degree days. We looked in the small pond and there are LOTS of toad eggs courtesy of our former blog stars from the other day. We should have plenty of tadpoles pretty soon. I sure hope the fish don't eat them all!

Love it! We have a train that passes through our area and we can here the horn all the time.

BTW I love my new yarn bowl. Thank you so much for remembering me.

We live right down the street from Amtrak, so we get to hear the trains all the time. It's actually kind of soothing, in a way.

I am not a huge train fan, but my guy is a member of the Board of Trustees for the local Railway Museum... and we spend every Saturday afternoon there. I knit while he does whatever needs doing.

Wow, toad eggs! The pictures are wonderful, although, I don't miss the trains.

I love those pictures, that is really cool. We have a train buy us, but it is about 2 miles down. I used to love going there & taking pictures of the tracks. Always mean to take my girls there & got some shots.

Grrrl, is your camera attached to you at the hip or what?! You never seem to miss an excellent photo opportunity!
