That's what we have had here for the last few days. I am certainly not complaining because we need it and I am glad for our new trees to have lots of great rain water. We were going to try and get some of our seedlings in the ground but we haven't been able to as of yet. We have a pretty busy weekend coming up so we'll see if we get to get any of it done.
We are thinking about going to Atlanta on Saturday to go see Newberry Jam play with Spiritual Rez. We haven't gotten to see Ian (our son) play in quite sometime. Their music is great and so is Spiritual Rez so we thought we might try and make the trek to go. I'm still not completely sure if we will be able to or not but maybe! If you are around on Saturday night in Atlanta you should totally check out the show! They are playing at the 5 Spot in Little Five Points which is always a fun experience. It's cheap to get into the show too (like $5-10 or something) so it is totally worth it.
Wayne and I have been REALLY busy this weekend continuing to get ready for Stitches South. Here is what the cats have been doing.
Yeah, they have been a lot of help. Not.

We've gotten a lot of rain up here as well. Which is great because the daffodils are all shooting out of the ground! :)
Is the 5 Spot where the L5P Pub used to be?
Used to live in the neighborhood, and wonder how it's changed. Maybe post some pictures if you get to go see your son?
Nancy
what???? they're just doing what cats do! smile
have a good weekend!
The kitties look so cozy :)
I like the cats' idea. Sitting around and doing nothing would be wonderful right about now. Too bad I'm not a cat.
We are getting rain tomorrow. The clouds have already started settling in. I have done what your cats are doing, all day today.
Part of my backyard is underwater. Glub. But it's been good rain for all the wildflower seeds Jim planted last weekend.
ooh! Stitches! I just learned what this convention is a couple months ago. I am considering going to Stitches East later in the year - but I don't know if I'm a good enough knitter - I think the classes might be too hard for me??? But my friends tell me it's worth going even for a day-trip just for the marketplace. We'll see! I don't think it's till later in the year here on the east cost.
By the way - "Carolyn" is me, "couch-knitter" - sorry about that.
We dont get alot of rain in the mojave desert. The cats look so relaxed very cute picture:)(((Hugs))) Darcy
Your grey tabby's in an orange tabby sandwich. Cute!
I'll be going to Stitches South with some of my friends. I'll look for you there.
We've had amazing storms here, I've been loving it. A little water in the house but I think that's been solved too...
Have fun tonight if you go!
