Dreams are weird

So, last night I dreamed that we were going to Canada. And since we were there, and since we were such good friends with Brian Urlacher, we were going to stop in and see him while in Canada (where I'm totally sure he lives, right?). For those of you who don't know, Brian Urlacher is a line backer for the Chicago Bears. I totally hate it when he plays my team too because he really kicks butt. For the record we do not now, and probably never will, know Brian Urlacher - nor do we have any plans to go to Canada especially since it is darn cold up there right now! It's a balmy 42 here this morning and that is cold enough for me TYVM.

Then the next dream I had was that our friends Bob and Sandy were coming to visit us. I was really excited about their visit because the last time they visited I felt like I didn't have enough time to chat with them (that part is true). So, I was making baked potatos for their visit - that's right, we live high on the hog out here in the hills.

Bob and Sandy show up and we are chatting, having wine and making baked potatos (4 to be exact). Then all these people just start showing up! Finally, we have like 30 other people at our house and I am wondering what in the heck is going on. Wayne then tells me that he may have invited a few people over for an open house. WHAT?!?!

Now I'm wondering what in the heck to do with all these people. I have no plans, no snacks to feed them, no drinks for everyone and nothing to entertain them. PLUS now we aren't getting to sit down and talk to Bob and Sandy. Just dang.

I'm trying to go around and make people feel like it isn't totally boring being at our house and then Wayne comes up with this "great idea" that he is going to go and get a bunch of paper so they can all paint. ???????.

Sandy tells me they are going to have to go home soon because their son (who is like 19) hasn't eaten dinner yet and they have to go home and feed him. Apparently he isn't capable of feeding himself??? But, she wants to show me her handgun first. She shows me her handgun and the barrel of the gun is bent so it is pointing back at whoever is holding it. I looked at it and told her that I thought that was probably a poor design. Then she was going on and on telling me about the historic signifigance of this gun and that all these famous hikers had carried it and signed it.

Then I woke up. Sandy, I swear the next time you come and visit it won't be that weird, ok? BTW - I just realized that your new blog addy isn't feeding into my blogroll on rav. Why is that?!?!?!

Dreams are weird.

Hmmmm, what does that dream mean to your subconscience?

That's an interesting transition there. :) I have weird dreams from time to time. Funny how those are usually the only memorable ones :D

Very weird, yes, but maybe there are dream "signs" in there that you can interpret for yourself. A message from your subconscious perhaps, or just too much spicy food before bed? You have such vivid recall. Many people don't.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who has super weird dreams.

Dude, I don't even know what to think. But hell, we'll come up sometime and see how much of a prophecy it is! Heh.

I went to a shooting range once with Bob and took a class. Then we went to the range. I hit the target inside of the center two rings. Every. Shot. Instructor told Bob not a good idea to piss me off.

Maybe Wayne needs help around there? Room and board will get you a couple of hands for a weekend! :D

I am going to make you a dream catcher to put over your bed. That will be our next ceremony.

Oh...remind me to tell you about my "event" on Saturday night while watching Bloodline with Pat.
