Knit Witch Spinning

FINALLY! I know poor Heather has been patiently waiting to see what her custom dyed fiber spun up into. I don't think it turned out half bad. In fact, I might even say this is the first decent yarn I have spun. It still has some thick and thin but overall it is pretty even. I still need to wash it and reskein it (because I realized AFTER I finished skeining it that I had screwed it up) and then it will be ready!

Aren't the colors great?!?!?!

I was going to do more spinning but this is what the foot pedal of my spinning wheel looks like right now.

So, maybe later..............

Yummy! It looks deliciously soft and squishy! And the kitties look pretty dern cuddly, too.

Lovely yarn, and wonderful pile of smooshy kitty goodness! It's so cute the way they pile all over each other! And so typically feline the way they do it on something that you need to use, but in such a cute way, you don't want to disturb them!

I love Heather's colors. She gets an idea about a color and suddenly its the most beautiful wool or yarn you've ever seen. I'm friends with her and get to go over and see all of it in person. She and another friend named Jean are teaching me to spin but its not very pretty yet!

Good job on the yarn! You've come a long way, baby.
I think Slim has really taken to having those kittens around.

Thanks for all the compliments on the yarn! And Heather, I'm so glad you approve!

Barrel Racer - you must be in Germany too! I'm sure Heather will be a great spinning instructor.
