Vacation Wildlife

While we were at The Villages we got a couple of cool shots. Look at these turtles - aren't they so cute???



We also got to see one of the small alligators there. He was so funny - it's like he was posing for us.




Of course, there were lizards everywhere. But I didn't get any pictures of them - those suckers are FAST!

This is what one of the squares looks like every night. They have a different live band there every night.

It was really a lot of fun. I love those self-contained communities. It is so nice to be able to run around and do your errands on bike or in a golf cart. I wish more communities were planned more like this - perhaps not on this scale - but planned more for convenience and to reduce the need to use cars for errands. But ya know what? It's freaking HOT in Ocala!

    And humid! I lived there for a couple of years and I remember the THICK air. It looks like you are having a lot of fun. You're making me want to retire. :-)

    lol at the heat! sure your not ready to think of moving? sounds like a pretty active community! they may make an exception for you, you'd keep them busy! love the turtles!
