I spy

I was lucky enough to see a few birds around our place this week. Unfortunately, I couldn't get close enough without scaring them to get really good pictures but maybe you can find them in these pictures:

Large Blue Heron in our pond fishing.


Broad Tail Hawk sitting in the tree waiting for mice.



Missy brought me a lively brown field mouse at about 5AM the other morning. I guess I should have taken his picture too. He was very cute but I felt compelled to continue with the capture and release program that we frequently run in our house and return him to his enjoyment out in the wild.
