I just realized though.........I forgot to wash it!!!! Darn. I knew that seemed too easy.
Other than that we are glazing more yarn bowls and firing up the kiln in just a little while. It's always like Christmas everytime we open the kiln - I love it!
Looks great! I haven't washed anything I've spun. I figure that after I knit with it, I'll block it! same thing!
ReplyDeletecongrats!
Yay! Now, about that pencil roving. hee hee
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of you! That treadle stuff is like wicked! I applaud you for getting a handle on it. I had so much fun on our "kindergarten playdate" today and I am so psyched to see how the buttons and shawl pins turn out.
ReplyDeleteI seriously want Mr. Man to teach me to throw pottery. Ask him how much he wants for lessons.
ESC - thanks!! And thanks for the tip - I agree - wash later.
ReplyDeleteJane - little do you know - it's already started! I post a pic later this week. I still haven't had time to do the second bobbin yet.
Yarnie - very scary that I was actually trying to teach someone to spin anyway! At least you didn't shoot the darn thing across the room like I did when I first started learning.
You did a great job!
